Hexxus 05:25
The forest The shade of the trees The branches That hold life unlike me I'm a wasteful being We are blind it seems Kill the smog machine Destruction The pain And all the greed Hate is all we seem to breed I'm a wasteful being We are blind it seems Kill the smog machine Smoke Sludge Slime

I need feet Like I need water You need my life Like I need your love I should retreat And find my brother Home on land I dream I need to find a way out of here Trapped inside the world you see No escape from reality Scales on your eyes, but no one looks Deep inside they're all caught by hooks You have my land Your sons and daughters I see the trees Beyond murky waters What if I told you I had the power To grant you what you need You seek to know what it is to be me But I'd rather know what it is to be you Just a fish in the sea Not a care in the world Til we eat your guts

Just A Fish 03:34
Nutrient Your time has come to be Turned into food you see It's just the circle of things I'd say death is not your friend Swim, swim away This is your chance to live a free fish Float crawl through the plastic seas That humans made with their evil dreams Don't look now, no birds no trees They've killed the earth and now your sea In their eyes you're but energy Now that you Have seen the truth You must be hooked on a fix To save your world from monkey man I'd say love is your friend But you're just a fish This is your chance to live a free fish Float crawl through the plastic seas That humans made with their evil dreams Don't look now, no birds no bees They've killed the earth and now your seas In their eyes you're but energy

Spiritual healer help me please The pyramid builders granted me The age of gold, renewable energy My body is crying, balance me Kundalini 2012 Was the end To the downfall of this land And up we rise, united we recall The ancient skies connected us all Sky guide help me see The moon phases, the sun that burns brightly Round and round they go, where they came from no one knows Tick-tock, tick-tock, time was turned into a clock 2012 Was the end To the downfall of this land And up we rise, united we recall The ancient skies connected us all 2012 Was the end To the downfall of this land Yet up we rise, united we recall The ancient skies connected us all

The Path 04:44
The wind It blows Ever Changing It picks (the time had changed) Us up (no one the same) And moves us (somewhere in the distance) Speaking (of ourselves and our cause) Retread the path A road you don't remember taking When your legs give out Continue on without them Carry your torch Carry your candles Carry your torch Carry your light We Will (travel these roads) Endure (our feet bruised These times (We cannot steel) Once more (we are lost) Retread the path A road you don't remember taking When your legs give out Continue on without them Carry your torch Carry your candles Carry your torch Carry your light Another soul lost, and the tree branches beckon, to a place above our own The shoreline calls, the lighthouse a beacon, as the last wave crashes once more And everything we ever try only sends us to A place we never truly knew A place wholly unknown The wind It blows Ever Changing Retread the path A road you don't remember taking When your legs give out Continue on without them Carry your torch Carry your candles Carry your torch Carry your light

about

We've recorded this album over the past ehhh 2 years? We have learned a lot! Things like, it's pretty difficult to do an album release completely by yourself, and that playing prog songs is hard, among other things. A lot has changed since we wrote these songs and we're excited to get back into the swing of writing music so that we can go through the whole process again!
We here at Chromatophore HQ (a giant cuttlefish in the ocean?? perhaps...) hope you enjoy this collection of songs with varying degrees of oceanic theming. Welcome to the fishiverse!
